A shared language for transformation

Brief

The Arts Centre  on Melbourne’s Southbank is Australia’s largest performing arts venue, a complex of theatres and concert halls which hosts some of the world’s best cultural performances. In an effort to reimagine the Arts Centre and the ways it should suit the needs of a contemporary audience; the Arts Centre began a process of masterplanning and transformation.

Approach

Left Bank Co. was engaged to review and frame up the transformation process, ensuring the strategic approach was embedded in strong thinking and a robust evidence base. Through consultations, review and workshops, Left Bank Co. set up the Arts Centre to move ahead with the transformation with its best foot forward.

Impact

The outcome of this work ensured the team had a shared language, clarity of communication and common purpose heading into the masterplan process.
